Explaining technology

France Telecom had a requirement to explain emerging phone technology to a non specialist audience. Working with the technical researchers in-text design developed simple icons to use across a range of diagrams helping the user understand the different technological processes. The repetition of the icons across many diagrams helped viewers understand the relationships between the technologies.
